2009 Infiniti FX50 Crossover

Infiniti FX50

The 2nd generation luxury crossover SUV – Infinity FX50 had been unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show. The Infiniti FX50 will become a next hit and are growing in popularity due do the US consumers looking for more affordable and cost effective car purchases in a slowing economy. The new crossover will go on sale in the United States and Canada in June 2008, with European sales beginning in the fall.

The FX50 comes with 390 horsepower and 369 lb.ft of torque. The interior is nice and stylish. The steering wheel is pretty hot with really cool looking paddle shifters. The look of it and the instrument panel reminded me a bit of the Acura MDX.

The driver-oriented cockpit has sport seating and available advanced audio, navigation and entertainment systems — including an 11-speaker Bose-developed audio system, Infiniti Intelligent Key, Intelligent Cruise Control (Full Speed Range), Distance Control Assist (DCA), and Around View Monitor system.

Other highlights include a seven-speed automatic transmission, four-wheel double-wishbone suspension, 21-inch wheels designed by Enkei, Continuous Damping Control (CDC) suspension, Rear-Active Steer, and Intelligent Brake Assist.
