Porsche had unveiled the latest 2009 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S in the Beijing Show to unwrap the most powerful Cayenne SUV model up to date. The improvements in engine control have help to boost the standard Cayenne Turbo’s 4.8-liter V8’s output from 500 Hp to 550 Hp and there has also been an increase in maximum torque by 50 Nm to 750 Nm.
The Cayenne Turbo S can accelates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds compare to standard Turbo only 5.1 seconds and reach the top speed at 280 km/h. Moreover, the fuel efficiency figures for the new Turbo S are exactly the same as those for the Cayenne Turbo despite the fact that the new Turbo S is faster and more powerful than the regular the Turbo model.

The new American version of Toyota’s Land Cruiser V8 4×4 will be equipped with the Lexus LX 570 / Toyota Tundra derived, 5.7-liter V8 petrol engine delivering 381 Hp. In Japan sales have already began with the Land Cruiser being offered with a 288Hp 4.7L V8 petrol unit. As for Europe, buyers will have to wait until December but they’ll be able to opt between the 4.7L petrol unit and a 286Hp 4.5L V8 diesel engine.
According to Toyota, the 2008 Land Cruiser has preliminary EPA fuel economy estimates of 13/18 mpg city/highway. Read the rest of this entry »

The Saab 9-4X was undergoing testing and the spy photographers have captured the first images of it. From the spy shots photo of the looks of the prototype, the roa-going version won’t deviate too much from the show car.
The 9-4X is being developed under the codename GMT168 and should come to market by the 2010 model year. The good news is the Saab 9-4X will be sold worldwide. Read the rest of this entry »
