BMW has manufactured the BMW 5 Series since 1972. It is a mid-size luxury car / executive car. The first digit (5 in this case) represents the model, and the following two digits (usually) represent the size of the engine in decilitres, which is the main distinguishing difference.
The BMW E60 is the current BMW 5 Series. Its Chris Bangle-designed styling and many of its advanced features received mixed reviews. The E60 represents a huge leap in technological advance over previous models. Read the rest of this entry »

Porsche AG of Stuttgart, Germany has made the sports car – Porsche 911. Since its inception the 911 has been modified, both by private teams and the factory itself, for racing, rallying and other types of automotive competition. It is often cited as the most successful competition car ever.
The type 997 911 GT3 that announced on 24th February 2006 can accelerate 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. Meanwhile it is as quick as the Turbo version as the top speed is 310 km/h (193 mph). Read the rest of this entry »
